Today my students completed a "lab" where they used Oreo cookies to show the phases of the moon. After having completed this lab with 5 periods my last class of the day is working on matching their cookies to their notes when a student goes "MISS-LET'S RACE!"
What did I do?
I took out an Oreo, twisted it in half, told a student to count off 1-2-3 and I started licking. It became rather entertaining as students were cheering like we were about to throw down and fight in the hallway. After a few glorious minutes I came out the victor.
What a start to my week.
